Merrill College Welcome Week 

Supervised by the College Programs Coordinator, Veró Shane-Vasquez (she/her/ella), the program assistants, orientation welcome leaders, and Merrill Student Government (MSG) executive board help make up the Merrill Programs and Leadership Office (MPLO).
Welcome Week is just around the corner, and it all kicks off the night you move in. The amazing week is focused on building a strong community, forging new friendships, and gaining a deeper understanding of the expectations and norms of being a student at Merrill and the broader UCSC community.
*Before your move, have a lovely dinner with your friends and family to bid them farewell.
Our dedicated staff at the Merrill Programs office will begin training and planning for Welcome Week activities in early September. By mid-September, you can expect to see our Programs Calendar populated with various engaging events. In the meantime, follow our Merrill College Instagram account @ucscmerrillcollege for updates and sneak peeks.

We are thrilled to have you join our community, and we can't wait to make your transition to Merrill College memorable.
