Undocu Art Festival: Submission Guidelines

In Collaboration with Merrill Programs & Leadership Office and EOP. Brought to you by Undocumented Stories at UCSC.

This art submission is open to all students within the UC community who are undocumented or come from mixed-status families: UCSC Students, Staff and Faculty, including faculty fellows, and alumni.

Submissions may be any form of art: music, photography, photo manipulations, murals, collages, knitting, crocheting, pottery, sculptures, paintings, clothing, drawings, sketches, poetry, prose, paper crafts, and more!

The work can be new or existing work but must be original artwork created by the person submitting the work

All designs should aptly represent our theme: Celebrations of Cultures, discussed in the prompt.

We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or disrespect toward an individual or community

Please keep in mind University Policy and Code of Conduct when submitting your artwork

 Artwork will be showcased on FRIDAY, MAY 11TH 6:00-9:00 PM CULTURAL CENTER AT MERRILL

 

You may submit your design one of three ways:

  3. in person to: 
    1. The Undocumented Student Services Office Mon-Fri 9am-6pm Attn. Paolo R or Rebeca N
    2. Merrill College Office Mon – Fri., 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm (adjacent to the Merrill Circle) Attn. Veronica V subject line: This Flower
