Posting, Tabling and Advertising Policies

Fliers
The Merrill Programs Office must approve all postings for content and relevance. Bring three (3) fliers to the Merrill College Office for approval. Once approved, we will post your fliers for you. All unapproved fliers will be removed.
All unapproved fliers in these locations or on walls, posts, doors or windows at Merrill College will be removed.
Drop off one banner and/or three fliers at the College Programs Office, located behind Banana Joe’s Café.
Fliers are approved and posted every Tuesday. Please be aware of this timing when submitting your advertising for approval.

Banners
All banners at Merrill must be approved and posted by the Merrill College Office. Bring one (1) banner (no larger than 3'x5') to the Merrill College Office for approval. Once approved, we will post your banners for you. All unapproved banners will be removed.

Banners are approved and posted every Tuesday. Please be aware of this timing when submitting your advertising for approval.

Residence Areas (Residence Halls and the Crown/Merrill Apartment Community)
Only Merrill Residential Staff may post in Residence Halls and on Apartment bulletin boards. Bring thirty-eight (38) copies of your flier to the Housing and Residential Education Office for approval. Once approved, we will post the fliers for you. All unapproved postings will be removed.

Only banners for events specific to Crown/Merrill are permitted in the immediate vicinity of Merrill's residential areas.

Dining Hall
Only Crown and Merrill College events or those sponsored by Dining Services may be advertised inside the Crown/Merrill Dining Hall. Approval is given by the Crown College Programs Coordinator.

Table-Tent Advertising is coordinated by Dining Services.
Tabling in the dining hall is coordinated by Dining Services.

Chalking
Chalk is NOT allowed at Merrill in any location.
