The Merrill Programs Office is a resource center for program development as well as the planning and implementation of intentional student programming for college specific and campus-wide events. With the help of creative and committed Program Assistants, Resident Assistants, Merrill Student Government members, Merrill Activities Council, Orientation Leaders, and others, the office ensures that student life at Merrill College remains enjoyable and enriching!
The Merrill Programs Office oversees the Merrill Student Government, Merrill Activities Council, and The Pottery Co-op. We also organize Fall Welcome Week, Merrill Commencement, College Nights, Moat Day, Dances and a number of programs, events, workshops, and activities throughout the year. The Programs Office also works in partnership and co-sponsorship with student organizations and other units from on and off campus to bring valuable programming to the Merrill community.
The Programs Office at Merrill College is located on the first floor of Merrill "B" Building, across from the Merrill College Office. The office staff includes the College Programs Coordinator, Assistant College Programs Coordinator, three student Programs Assistants, and the Historian. The Merrill Activities Council and the Merrill Student Government also work out of the Office of Programs and Leadership providing many opportunities for students to get involved.
