Teaching these arts at UCSC has launched a generation of ethnomusicologists, linguists, diplomats, political scientists and theatre artists who use ideas from Sundanese arts of West Java in diverse ways. (with gamelan musicians from the Advanced Gamelan Class and puppet and dance demonstration).
